FAQ
How much does StackGoat cost?
$49.99 launch price for the first 10 buyers, then $129.99. One-time payment, lifetime access and lifetime updates.
How do I get access after buying?
Polar sends a GitHub invite for the private lumir-labs/stackgoat repository to the email you use at checkout. Accept it, clone the repo and start with the README quickstart.
Can I use it for client projects?
Yes. The commercial license covers unlimited projects: your own SaaS ideas and client work alike.
What versions are supported?
Next.js 16 + TypeScript, Expo SDK, tRPC 11, Prisma 7, Better Auth (Google OAuth, organizations, RBAC), TanStack Query, and single-source i18n in ES/EN (add locales without a retrofit). All pre-wired in a Turborepo monorepo.
Do I get updates?
Yes: all future updates are free, forever. Buy once, get every improvement we ship.
What is your refund policy?
Due to the digital nature and immediate repository access, all sales are final. If something is broken or the invite never arrives, email support and we fix it.
What is NOT included?
Payments: billing is a placeholder; bring your own provider (Stripe, Polar, Lemon Squeezy). Also not included: a hosted app (you deploy), and compliance certifications (GDPR/SOC2/ISO; see the disclaimer in the repo README).
What do I need to know before buying?
You should be comfortable with TypeScript, Git and the terminal. Setup needs Bun 1.3+, PostgreSQL (local or hosted) and your own Google OAuth credentials. The README quickstart walks through every step.
Who handles taxes and invoices?
Polar Software, Inc. is the merchant of record: it processes the payment, handles VAT/sales tax worldwide and issues your invoice or receipt automatically at checkout.
Which email gets the GitHub invite?
The email you use at checkout. If your GitHub account uses a different address, email support and we will invite your GitHub username manually.
Is there support?
Yes: setup questions are answered by the maker at [email protected]. No SLA, but we read everything and answer fast.
